Features pioneering artists from the Portland Sculpture & Quarry Trust installing the Living Land Archive exhibition at the Drill Hall, recorded over 35 years during an unprecedented time of environmental and technological change. It includes:
- The Geological Time Line – where every footstep represents half a million years – hand tools passed down through generations of quarrymen and the Island’s stonemasons – and quarry model by Geoffrey Stewkesbury.
- Learning stone skills in the open-air stone carving workshops of Tout Quarry Sculpture Park & Nature Reserve with Quarrymen Ralph Stone splitting the stone with plugs and feathers
- Artists site specific work commissioned by the Trust who saved the 350 yr old historic environment of Tout Quarry from further mineral extraction in1983.

- This south west adventure concludes with a tour of Devon, Somerset and Dorset for auctioneers Izzie Balmer and Catherine Southon.
- Izzie buys some liqueur glasses, a Victorian chandelier and yet more brooches before settling on a river bank, in a top secret location, on the lookout for a very rare animal.
- Catherine takes a risk with the purchase of a massive anchor with no provenance, but plays it safe with some Georgian shoe buckles. In among all that shopping, there’s still time for Catherine to embark on a detour to meet some pioneering artists.
