;All you need to bring with you are sketchbook and drawing materials, stout footwear (steel toe-capped boots are recommended) and — if you wish — personal stone tools. Safety glasses are sold by the Trust.

On the first day, you will be issued with a toolbox and a set of 5 carving tools and two hammers which you keep on loan for the duration of your workshop. The tools have to be booked back in at the end of the workshop (tool losses have to be paid for at current cost of replacement).

We help you to load your finished sculpture into your car to take home, as Portland stone is very dense: 1 cubic foot weighs 140 pounds (10 stone /70 kilos). The average weight of an adult. Click Here to download a booking form or Contact Us for further information.
